At The National Training Facility at Piney Orchard we provide an outstanding environment for young developing players. Here, our participants not only have the opportunity to learn from some of the top hockey professionals with a proven track record for developing players, but they also are given the chance to interact and learn from other elite athletes — those working towards the same goal — and many who have already achieved them!

Utilizing the former training facility of the NHL Washington Capitals, Network Hockey provides its athletes with the same practice ice, locker rooms, off-ice training facility, meeting and conference rooms, shower rooms and more, as the pros of the NHL, allowing players not only an outstanding facility, but an opportunity to understand what it takes to be elite —
in body, mind and soul.

Our training center is second-to-none and offers a “one-stop shop” for participants. There is no need for additional club memberships, or personal trainers. During the intensive 12-week summer training portion of the program, participants come to the rink before their on-ice sessions to do their off-ice training with hockey’s number one strength, conditioning and speed training coach, Frank Costello. In our meeting rooms,  they receive seminars on nutrition, sports psychology, college recruiting, NCAA eligibility , work on SAT preparation, etc,   They work on systems,  or meet with coaches and mentors who are always in their on-site offices for help and input —-  and sometimes, they just relax and  prepare mentally in our game room. Finally, they dress in their private locker room before hitting the ice in a two — three hour intensive on-ice session—and when they are done, they shower privately and leave their equipment in their stalls for the next day!

TRULY—  SECOND-TO-NONE!
